Should You Buy a Kitchen Aid Hand Mixer?

If you know anything about mixers, you know that Kitchen Aid is top notch. Kitchen Aid doesn't mess around. They offer only the best performing appliances made out of the best quality.

There stand mixers are classic. You can beat the best meringue or knead amazing dough all with the same machine. These mixers are fantastic machines that will not break or decrease in performance. If you don't already have one, you should get one.

Kitchen Aid also offers hand mixers. Now you might be wondering why you should get a hand mixer if you already have a stand mixer. It isn't a waste, trust me.

First of all, if you don't have a standing mixer and you don't use them very often, if you are hoping to save a few bucks, getting a Kitchen Aid hand mixer instead is a great way to go inexpensive. You can get the same quality at a lower price, you are just a little more limited with what you can do.

On the other hand, there are those of you who already have a stand mixer. Why should you get a hand mixer? Hand mixers are not just a cheaper version of stand mixers. They allow more portability and are easier for several situations. If you are mixing something quickly and in a rush, it's much easier and faster to just use a hand mixer because you don't need to go through getting out and getting ready your stand mixer.

Also, one of the best things about hand mixers is their portability. Sometimes you wish to mix something right in the bowl you are already using. With a hand mixer, you don't need to worry about changing bowls.

This also works great if you are planning on mixing in a pot or pan. I like to make mashed potatoes and use a mixer, but it makes it so much easier to just use a hand mixer right in the pot I used to boil the potatoes. This can also work for gravies and anything else you wish to not dirty another bowl to use.

If you cook and bake a lot, it's worth the small expense to get a hand mixer. You will find yourself using it time and again. By getting a Kitchen Aid hand mixer, you don't have to worry about it giving out when mixing tough stuff or breaking after a couple of years. It is built tough to handle everything including the test of time.
